We have also built some interesting decks in more wild areas such as
paddocks and orchards where the use of wood rather than stone provides a
more organic, less formal seating area.
Wooden decks look great next to a water feature.
We mostly use either the traditional grooved Scandinavian Redwood timber
or the more contemporary smooth Southern Yellow Pine boards. We have
also used cedar to create a very modern style of garden.
